Charikleia Vardakari

Ms. Charikleia Vardakari studied Economics at the University of Piraeus, specializing in Business Administration and holds an MBA in Finance from the École normale Supérieure in Paris. 
She has a long professional career in the broader financial sector. She started her professional career as a business consultant at Interaction S.A. on financial issues and feasibility studies for various sectors of the economy.
She was a senior executive in HSBC Bank (Corporate & Private Banking), as well as in major Greek systemic banks and their subsidiaries and contributed to the development of Factoring in Greece, as a senior executive in ABC FACTORS S.A. For the last 14 years, she has held the position of Managing Director in Piraeus Factoring S.A., as an Executive Member of the Board of Directors of the same company.
Since the beginning of 2020, Charikleia Vardakari has been a non-executive member of the Board of Directors and member of the Audit Committee of the Public Real Estate Company S.A. (ETAD S.A.)
