Mr. Antonis Vartholomeos is Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Member of the Board of Directors of Pancreta Bank S.A., since late 2022.
He started his career in the banking sector in the United States in the early 80’s, working for ATLANTIC BANK OF NEW YORK and OLYMPIAN BANK.
Upon his return to Greece, in early 90’s, he undertook C-Level and BoD positions at INTERBANK and EGNATIA BANK, EUROHOLDINGS CAPITAL & INVESTMENT CORP. S.A., EYDAP S.A., PEGASUS SECURITIES S.A., the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund S.A. (HRADF S.A.), and ATTICA BANK.
He is a graduate of the University of Piraeus (1980) and as a Ph.D Candidate he completed his Μasters and Doctoral coursework, worked on his dissertation in Finance & International Economics at FORDHAM University – New York (1986), in which he was also engaged as a lecturer of Strategic Planning and Strategic Technology. A former Champion of the Hellenic National Junior Athletics Team, he continues to actively support athletics not only as a former Member of Board of the Panhellenic Gymnastics Association, but also as a way of life.
